The holiday season is a time for warmth, community, and generosity. This year, Associated Grocers is proud to launch its annual Holiday Red Bag Food Drive, a simple and powerful way for shoppers to help fight food insecurity right here in our local communities.

How the Holiday Red Bag Food Drive Works

Making a difference is easier than ever! Through our Holiday Red Bag Food Drive program, shoppers can purchase a pre-packed Red Bag at participating Associated Grocers retail member stores for just $10.

Every single Red Bag purchased provides essential meals to local families who are struggling, ensuring they have food on the table during this festive time of year. By purchasing a bag, you are directly supporting the crucial work of our regional Food Bank partners.


A Day of Inspiring Generosity

The launch of this year’s drive kicked off with incredible energy!

On Friday, November 7th, a dedicated team of volunteers—from multiple generous agencies—joined the Associated Grocers staff for a special packing event. The air was filled with teamwork, enthusiasm, and an inspiring spirit of giving as we packed the initial stock of Holiday Red Bags for distribution to our retail members.

We extend our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support from our corporate partners, our tireless volunteers, and the community at large. Your efforts are essential in helping us spread holiday cheer and ensure the success of the Holiday Red Bag Food Drive across the region.
