 Associated Grocers GMRA

Scholarship Fund

The Associated Grocers GMRA Scholarship Fund helps provide college scholarships to students working in the grocery industry.

Qualified recipients will receive $1,000 the first year ($500 per semester), and then $2,000 per semester for each of the following 3 years that they remain working within an Associated Grocers member store. That is up to $13,000!

Recipients must apply for the scholarship annually and must remain employed by any Associated Grocers store.

Requirements:

In making its decision, the Scholarship Advisory Committee shall use the following criteria:

  • Standardized test scores
  • High School and/or undergraduate GPA
  • Quality of personal statement
  • Quality of letter of recommendation
