Get ready for a party favorite! This creamy and flavorful Cheesy Jalapeno Popper Dip is packed with cheesy goodness, spicy jalapeños, and crispy bacon. With just 10 minutes of prep time, you’ll have a crowd-pleasing appetizer ready in no time.
Ingredients*
- 2 (8-ounce) blocks original cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded low-moisture whole milk mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 12 slices sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños, roughly chopped, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 cup diced green chilies
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Tortilla chips, for serving (optional)
- Sliced French bread, for serving (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Add the cooked and crumbled bacon, chopped jalapeños, diced green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top of the dip.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let stand for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with extra crumbled bacon, sliced jalapeños, and chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips or sliced French bread.
