Associated Grocers held its annual Grocery Industry Scholarship Golf Tournament on November 12, 2025, at Pelican Point in Gonzales, LA. The tournament is held to raise scholarship funds for students. To qualify for the scholarship, students must work in the grocery industry. This partnership between Associated Grocers and the Grocery Manufacturers Representatives Association (GMRA) has been ongoing for over 25 years, successfully raising essential scholarship dollars to help individuals pursue education.
For more than 25 years, AG and GMRA have teamed up to host this tournament as a key fundraiser for the organizations’ shared scholarship fund. Students who work within the grocery industry are eligible to apply, making the event an important pathway toward educational advancement and long-term career development.
Held at the beautiful Pelican Point Golf Club, this year’s tournament brought together industry partners, employees, vendors, and supporters for a day of friendly competition and meaningful impact. The event not only strengthens relationships across the grocery sector—but also ensures continued financial support for students pursuing higher education while working in the industry.
