What’s better than a delicious, mouthwatering grilled oyster? Eating one for a great cause!
It was a flavorful fall Saturday when local favorite, Jennie V’s Seafood, fired up the grill right inside Delaune’s Supermarket for a special Grilled Oyster Event. Shoppers were treated to perfectly cooked oysters from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Serving Up Support for AGives!
The real highlight of the event, though, was the community spirit. Delaune’s Supermarket committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from the day’s oyster sales to AGives!, the 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of Associated Grocers, Inc.
This exciting pop-up gave shoppers the perfect opportunity to shop local and support a mission that makes a difference!
The oyster event coincided with the popular Delaune’s Fall 4 All Sale, which featured special savings and incredible deals storewide, making the Saturday an all-around win for customers and the community.
