The air was buzzing with excitement at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, LA, as Associated Grocers, Inc. welcomed its retail members and vendors to the highly anticipated 2025 Fall Food Show. Held on Wednesday, September 10th, this biannual event is a cornerstone for independent grocers, offering a firsthand look at the latest products, services, and merchandising opportunities available to help their businesses thrive.
But it’s not all business. The show kicked off the day before with a fantastic Kick-Off Cookout—a perfect mixer for vendors and retailers to connect, share ideas, and enjoy some great food and entertainment. This year, the festivities featured a lively Casino Night and a special performance from the Grammy Award-winning artists, Chubby Carrier and The Bayou Swamp Band.

This show continued to build on its powerful theme: celebrating 75 years of serving the independent retail grocer and highlighting all things Local. From product showcases to networking opportunities, the event underscored a deep commitment to the community and the enduring partnerships that have fueled Associated Grocers for decades.
The 2025 Fall Food Show was more than just a business event; it was a testament to the strong connections and shared vision that define the independent grocery industry.
