On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Associated Grocers held its Driver Awards Banquet, celebrating 2025 accomplishments of drivers by recognizing their commitment, focus, and dedication to safe driving. Held at Drusilla Seafood in Baton Rouge, LA, drivers were awarded for years of safe driving, including four standalone awards – Drivers’ Choice Award, Customer Service Excellence Award, Safe Driver of the Year Award, and the 2025 Johnny Holland Jr. Excellence Award.
During the ceremony, Associated Grocers President and CEO, David Politz, addressed the attendees and noted that as a company, we go beyond compliance… and we reach excellence. The professionalism of AG drivers not only protects themselves and others on the road but also reflects the strong values that define our company.

Recognition of outstanding commitment to safety by meeting all safe-driving criteria, including safe driving miles, safety score average, minimal idle time, and exemplary driving behavior.
2025 Johnny Holland Jr. Excellence Award
