The AGives! Crawfish King Cook-Off team brought the heat this year, landing a coveted spot in the top 10! AGives!, the 501(c)3 non-profit affiliate of Associated Grocers, fielded a boiling team at the annual Crawfish King Cook-Off held in downtown Baton Rouge on Friday, May 2nd.
Led by talented boilers Wilbur Fabre, Jr. and Dwayne Anthony, the AGives! team showcased their crawfish expertise against a strong field of over 36 participating teams. The Crawfish King Cook-Off participation not only highlighted the team’s culinary skills but also supported a fantastic cause.
The Crawfish King Cook-Off is a much-anticipated event that generously benefits both Big Buddy Program and Junior Achievement. It’s a full day packed with fun and community spirit, all in the name of supporting these vital organizations.
Big Buddy plays a crucial role in our community by fostering meaningful mentoring relationships for young people. Similarly, Junior Achievement empowers the next generation by equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills to achieve economic success, plan for their futures, and make informed academic and financial decisions.
