OUR MISSION: “The Support and Success of the Independent Retail Grocer”

From our roots in 1950 with 17 founding member stores to our growing membership of over 220 independent retailers in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama, Associated Grocers remains committed to its original goal of helping the independent grocer remain competitive.

The plans have expanded from the simple days of just providing combined buying power to member-retailers and now also include a full line of other services: retail accounting, advertising, engineering, marketing, retail technology, and merchandising.

The goal remains simply to become one of the finest Retail Operations Support Centers for our members so that they can operate efficient, customer-focused outlets in the marketplaces they serve.
